Thunderous fans greet NBA stars at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden

INDIAN WELLS — More than 16,000 excited fans packed into the Indian Wells Tennis Garden Saturday night to watch history in the making as the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets met for the first-ever outdoor NBA game in the United States.
